Tips for New Captains

Ensure your players know where and when they will be playing. Early in the season, it’s very important to start on time, which means you should have begun competitive play by 6:15.

Be sure you are familiar with the South Island Tennis League rules. It’s a good idea to keep a copy in your tennis bag. All matches are played in accordance with Tennis Canada’s ‘Rules of the Court’, the ‘Code of Conduct’ and the ‘Guidelines for Unofficiated Matches’.
